Sangoma Connect is your PBX mobile and desktop app that allows you to manage your PBXact calls on the go. Zulu includes features like live chat, on-click desktop calling, and video calling. Download the desktop app on your laptop or PC. You can find the mobile app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
We also offer faxing, direct dial numbers, and extensions for your employees. This allows you to effortlessly communicate with your staff and your departments. Another feature of PBXact is call parking. This allows you to “park” a call instead of immediately transferring it. It’s almost like the middle between “transfer” and “hold”. The call will not be lost to a voicemail box, and instead, allows you to complete other tasks while the appropriate agent becomes available. Once the agent is available, they can simply pick up the call where you left off. The caller was not disconnected, but you were able to remain productive without keeping the caller on hold.
Without giving too much away, another great feature of PBXact is called “Instant Call Control”. The Call Flow Control feature is a unique feature which gives control over the routing of incoming calls with the use of feature codes. This feature is useful in a situation where an incoming number/route would need to be changed on-the-fly. A good example of this feature in use would be when an office closes for the day. A receptionist (or user) simply dials the code (or presses the BLF button assigned to it) to enable or disable the Call Flow Control.
